Originally from North Carolina, Kay has been an Island regular since 1985. She was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Charlotte, North Carolina for 18 years before becoming a permanent Island resident in 1991.

Kay lives in Leamington with her son Casey. She is active in the schools, is a member of the Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce, she is a SC Notary Public and is an avid supporter of the Hilton Head Humane Association.

Kay has been in real estate for the since 1998 and her sales consist of properties both on and off the Island. She is a member of NAR, SCAR, MLS, HHIAOR and prides herself in her solid reputation for complete customer satisfaction.
